Revolut Germany

Revolut Germany

Digital-banking app in Germany now offering a German IBAN for residents – ideal for salary payments, direct debits and everyday banking.

Looking for a flexible online bank in Germany? Revolut now lets German residents open or migrate their account to a German branch and receive a German “DE” IBAN, making it much more suitable for everyday banking (salary in, direct debits, utilities) rather than a foreign IBAN.

Revolut’s European bank has been operating in the German market since 2017. This was followed by the opening of an office in Berlin in 2019, and Revolut has been operating in Germany and the European Union with a full Lithuanian banking license since 2022. Since the beginning of the year, Revolut Bank UAB has been under the supervision of the European Central Bank as a systemically important bank.
